Post 8. YOUTUBE

Hello people!! Today I have to write about You Tube. I enjoy a lot of this webpage. It is very interesting, fun and useful. You can to find music videos, movies, series, anime, reviews of game and products, diverse tutorials, news and other videos of whatever. The variety is amazing, for example I am sure you always will can to find witness videos of crimes, catastrophes or spy videos…you can find snuff videos if you know to search.  The better of You Tube is that we can upload videos or download them if we want; the use is free and easy, just it is necessary to have Google account. There famous person in You Tube, the youtubers, they do video blog, some of them are popular and You Tube gives them money cause that. As this webpage is massive is perfect to do advertising, now, unfortunately, there in the videos ads, it can be in the opening or half, I don’t like that.

The first time I accessed YouTube I think, it was when I was secondary student…I believe somebody showed me a terror video. No doubt, the best to me was the possibility to know new music groups. Well, to find videos you need to have time…honestly You Tube is fan and funny sometimes, but really you need time and very good connection. The other way you don’t enjoy that.

I never had done a comment, but I read some comments, I think some are unnecessary serious. To me You Tube is a recreation tool.

Post 7: Food and eating habits

Hi people!! Today I must to write about food. The saying says: You are what you eat…that is true, the most of the ills have relationship with that we eat, and also the food has influence in ours mood.

About my way I eat...I am not vegetarian, but I eat almost nothing of red meat, I prefer the white meat, the fish.  Sometimes, I eat with friend, when we have little time; we prefer to eat at fast food restaurants. I love vegetables and fruits. My favourite vegetable is the cabbage and my favourite fruit is the green apple. The last time I have tried to eat better because I know I am some disorganized with the hours to eat, sometime the dinner is to 8 p.m. o’clock and other times it is to 1 a.m. o’clock. I eat when I am hungry.  

When I buy food, always I read the nutritional information on them; I worry transgenic, artificial colorants, the amount to sugar or salt and the contribution of bad cholesterol. My diet is to try don’t eat bread, to lost weight just the exercise is the key…when I am sad I eat little, so I lost weight too.

To finish, I love the food, I like to cook, I like to use news ingredients, I like taste news flavours. One thing I want to do when I am going to travel to other countries is to taste its traditional food.

Post 6: How green are you?

Hi people! I love the green color; I think a room without plants is a death place where you can’t breathe…Today I have to write about How green am I?.

Chile has a Ministry of Environment since 2010, before, in 1994, it was called CONAMA, but that was just an environment commission and its function was mainly the diagnosis of our environment. The difference is that the ministry aims to improve the life quality through measures (as education, decontamination, protection, regulations, etc.) against the destruction of the nature. Honestly, I think we have lack education; an evidence of this is that the last days had a strike of garbage collector and the garbage was in every corner like a pig-sty, that was the chance to prove our culture separating and ordering our waste.

I must change a lot of habits, before I was more careful about that, but I don´t know…I seal the bag with garbage, I try to have the less possible plastic bags, when I go to buy to market I use a cloth bag, soon I am going to use my bike…if I can (money) buy organic products, I do it, I prefer its qualities and its low or non-existent impact in the nature, besides these product don’t do tests with animals. About animals, I believe a great contribution is the responsible possession of pets; I have a kitty, I prefer to assure hers well-being before the pleasure (other time: money), well it´s a pleasure take care of her. Finally I have to say, in the future I would like to join any eco-organization, but before I must to organize my life ;)

Post 5: Animals and Pets

Hi people!! Today I am going to write about animals. I am an animal lover. In the present I would like to have a cat, but my studio apartment is very small and it is in 12th floor without balcony…sure a cat would die...Anyways when I was a little girl I went with my family to supermarket, back in to our house we find a dog, he was skinny and redhead, He was similar to a German shepherd, as the Chileans say a “Quiltro”. My father named him “Whisky” because his color hair. He was my first pet; I am not sure…I believe I had a pair of frogs, a hamster and fishes too…all them on a pair with Whisky...whatever, Whisky lived with us 8 years, a day he went to stroll as always, but never came back to our house. My brother was very sad for several weeks, I had the impression he went back a lady dog.  After, when I was 14 years old my father became to our house with a little puddle called “Paloma", she even lives in my parent’s house, she is 13 years old and she is a spoilt dog of my father.

I don´t think that there a perfect animal, that depends of the person, in my case if I will get other apartment, the perfect pet would be a cat, but maybe a big aquarium with a lot of fishes…mmm but I think to have a bird in a cage is cruel, I never would have a little bird looking the world from a prison...that is some different than the fishes, these latter have an universe in an aquarium.  Well, I don’t like zoos, circles or animal’s shows.

Post 4: Summary from a career-related article

Wise Virgen By Dürer

Hi people! Today I am going to write about an article of The Guardian. Its title is: “Courtauld's pedantry clouds Albrecht Dürer's visionary genius”. Jonathan Jones wrote it the Wednesday 16 october.
 That is about an exhibition by Courtauld Gallery in London of the artist Albrech Dürer. The name of this exhibition is “The Young Dürer: Drawing the Figure.” The critic and writer   J. Jones emphasizes about the negative aspects. That Gallery is one of more important of England, but it is too academic, so it is some snobbish and the renaissance artist doesn’t stand out. Albrech Dürer does important paintings like “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” or “Christ-like self-portrait”…the writer pretends that the readers think about his true importance. The gallery shows the painting when Dürer travels by art cities of Germany during four years…in other words the exhibition is to knowledgeable people is not to the public of Courtauld Gallery.The principal painting would be “A Wise Virgin”. The exhibition has less works of Dürer that of his influences, for example prints by Martin Schongauer, to the writer that influence was obvious. Besides, the gallery shows slides of the pictures of Dürer used in a lecture by Aby Warburg, to J. Jones the drawing of Orpheus is the only one thing remembers that the artist was renaissance. That is all, until the next post.

Post 3: Japanese Animation

Hi people! This week have to write about anime…just coincidence, the previous post I wrote about the country I would like to travel, well, that country was Japan and now I am going to write about something originated there: anime… That means animation has been created in Japan, there a lot genres of anime, my favorites are shonen (usually characterized by high-action),  psychological  horror  and experimental.

I love anime, since I was a little girl, I enjoy anime now and forever, I am sure that.  Just for I have to name one , my favorite anime in the last time is the OVAS (Original Video Animation)  of Hellsing Ultimate by Geneon of the Hellsing Manga by Kouta Hirano.  The high equality of images, the working in the effects of any angle is amazing. Besides the drama is so interesting, It mixes the real universal history, literature and imagination. The Christians, the Protestants, the Nazis, the crusaders, England, vampires, Dracula, blood,zombies, action, wars, a cold woman as leader, a sexy and twisted vampire as warrior…all that you can watch there, well I like it so much.  My interest in Japan began cause anime and mangas.

A soundtrack I like now is of Gantz, the manga is better than the anime, but of the anime I rescue its soundtrack..the seconds song that you listen here (in my blog) is of Gantz. 
My first anime was Candy, a shojo (anime very nice typically created to girls) so long and melodramatic, but in that moment I didn’t watch the evil in its drama, I was innocent xd.

Post 2: A country I would like to visit

Hi people!! Now I must write about a country I would like to visit. Honestly I want to travel around the world, I want to know every places of this world, but I know that is impossible. So I have to choose a country…I choose Japan because I think that country is fun, it appears beautiful, crazy and strange. Well, these things interest me. I want to visit the Tokio Tower, Mount Fuji, Suizen-ji Garden, Itsukushima Shrine, Bullet Train, etc. The cities I would know are:  Tokio, Osaka, Nagoya and Yokohama. Besides visiting the places and enjoying the landscapes, I want to live the night life, the parties…I want to cross the street between millions of people and shining lights. 
Japan is totally modernity and technology; I imagine Japan as the future in the present, but also the past in the present because Japan preserves its national heritage between skyscrapers.  Would be great if I could work there in a restoration center or to study, but first would be to speak japanese…that sound hard. I hope to travel to Japan someday ;)

Post 1: My ideal job

Hi People!!!  I am going to write about my future plans. The next year is the last year of my career “Theory and History of Art”, I am so excited to that. I wish after I graduate from university to study fine arts Restoration and Conservation. I like the details and the handicrafts. I am thinking of working in a museum wherever. I have in mind to spend all day working in front to paintings or sculptures while listening to background songs. Also I love doing research very much, so I could work reading a lot of documents with historical information. I hope to travel around the world, at least to know some countries as part of my job. That would be great!  Well I know I have to think about money, to do that an old friend and me are thinking of opening a business, even we don’t know about that, we are planning it.

I think I can to do everything I wrote above  because I am patient and hard-working. I know I sound a little positive and idealistic, but I think you can do anything you want to do... Until the next post!

The blog

This is the end…Hi people!  today this is the last post. Before I had written in a blog, when I was teenager, well, It was a good experience, but now it is different…this blog is in English, so it was more difficult because that is not my language, besides the subjects were not my decision. I could say that all the experience with the blog could be better if my English is better ( this is obvious xd).  I want to say that this classwork would be better in the level 4. Whatever, it was funny to create the blog. Sure, to some students  the blog was a good tool to progress in English, but to me it was simply to know that I do not know  English and that language is hard too. I believe that is good because just recognizing it  I can to learn.  Anyway, the semester is ending and I hope that this practice help me in the last test.

Talking in English is better than writing in English. Talking the people improvise because they are forehead the recipient, there is pressure. Writing the people adapt his knowledge and It is less probable to fail. Well that is my opinion.  So good bye  and good luck in everything. Kisses to everyone!

My Favourite Subject

Well, today I must to write about my favourite subject in my career. You know I love the cine, so this year I took  several cinema classes, I like all of them, but  I could say my favourite class is a CFG, that means in english  “Cross Training Study” . That class is more flexible than the others curricular classes, they are not mandatory assignment, you can take them in other faculties of the university so these can be whatever, for example somebody  is studying   Biomedical Engineering and he can study something in philosophy just for interest without pressure, well after all that is a complement.
So much beat about the bush, sorry,  I like the subject: "Film Forum" of the faculty of art in the downtown. That is about cine, movie, directors, etc…all about cine. It is so relax, we come to the class, we watch films and later we tell ours opinions, that is all, so so relax, I like so much. To me is a break in the week. I have seen films that I did not know, I have known new people and  I have worked my way to expand my ideas. Until the next post!!!
